About the Role

Our goal from head office to the shop floor is to create and deliver an outstanding customer experience for everyone visiting Lidl. We seek a Deputy Store Manager who leads by example, supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining excellent standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store activities.
  • Drive performance by targeting and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the store team to maintain high motivation and performance levels.
  • Ensure the store is presented to a high standard on the sales floor.
  • Manage inventory to keep stock levels appropriate and consistent.
  • Deliver outstanding service to customers at all times.

Candidate Requirements

  • Have completed secondary education or equivalent (leaving certificate).
  • Possess at least two years of management experience in a high-paced environment.
  • Hold a valid full driving licence.
  • Be passionate about working in dynamic settings with goals to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Show flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Store Manager is preferable but not mandatory given a positive mindset.

Compensation and Benefits
