Role Overview

The Deputy Principal role at LOINS is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Riyadh. The individual will assist the Principal in managing everyday school operations encompassing academic programming, student services, and staff coordination. Responsibilities involve implementing the school's vision, supervising the quality of teaching, and fostering an inclusive, secure, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Duties

  • Support curriculum development and planning activities.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide teacher guidance.
  • Address student behavior and welfare concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with families to enhance home-school partnerships.
  • Participate in strategic planning and lead school improvement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and represent the school in meetings as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in senior educational leadership or teaching roles, preferably within international or national school systems.
  • Expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum monitoring, and classroom evaluation supporting excellent teaching and learning.
  • Proven capability in student welfare, behavioral management, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and diverse staff teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities for handling multiple responsibilities and school-wide initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline; higher qualifications or leadership certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of school policy frameworks, quality assurance methods, and data-driven school improvement processes.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site in Riyadh and adapt to various cultural and educational settings.
