About the Role
Bridgegap Consults Limited is recruiting a highly seasoned Deputy Managing Director to lead and oversee all operations for a premier seismic exploration company, based in Lagos or Port Harcourt. This permanent, on-site position demands a visionary executive capable of steering large-scale seismic acquisition projects and driving business growth within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and executive leadership spanning company-wide functions.
- Supervise extensive seismic exploration and acquisition initiatives.
- Champion business development and generate new revenue streams and contracts.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Assure operational excellence, health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards compliance alongside project profitability.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to senior management teams to build organizational capacity.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Surveying, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or relevant disciplines.
- At least 15 years of pertinent experience in seismic exploration, geophysical services, or upstream oil and gas industry roles.
- Extensive combined technical and managerial expertise within the seismic exploration domain.
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience at executive or high-level management positions.
- In-depth knowledge of seismic acquisition techniques and exploration technologies.
- Exceptional skills in strategy development, commercial acumen, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced degree such as MBA, MSc, or equivalent is a plus.

Additional Information
