Role Summary

This role focuses on supporting product engineering activities for pumps by reviewing orders, coordinating technical inputs, preparing release-ready documentation, assisting with drawings and 3D modelling inputs, and resolving technical issues arising during execution, assembly, testing, or at site. The position also involves coordination with internal teams and KSB Tech for development-related work.

Key Responsibilities

• Check order indents carefully and confirm that all details are accurate.
• Take part in internal kick-off discussions, provide technical guidance, and close open technical queries.
• Examine and approve Pump Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
• Prepare and issue accurate pump part lists in SAP for standard pump variants.
• Track and implement updates to technical supplements and part lists based on revised indents and QCPs received during project execution.
• Create manufacturing drawings and assembly check drawings for regular as well as development orders for API and non-API pumps.
• Support the 3D modelling team by supplying 2D drawings, key dimensions, and model-checking inputs.
• Address technical problems reported during assembly, testing, and at customer sites.
• Carry out order-specific development tasks and technical analysis with KSB Tech through offer permits, including assessment of quoted engineering effort hours.
• Develop pattern layout drawings and raise requisitions for newly required parts.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Practical working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Familiarity with SAP MM and PP modules
• Understanding of ASME and API standards
• Experience in engineering work related to API pumps
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused approach for both internal and external stakeholders
