Deputy Manager / Manager - Business Finance

Role Overview

This position is with a prominent FMCG client represented by Symbiosis Management Consultants, located in Kolkata. The role focuses on overseeing critical financial aspects such as pricing strategies, product costing, and margin management to enhance business profitability.

Primary Duties

• Manage pricing, product cost evaluation, and control of margin performance within the business.
• Examine direct and indirect expenses, including wastage factors like aging stock, and initiate measures to achieve cost reductions.
• Conduct detailed monthly business performance analyses, including variance examination to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Review and reconcile Profit & Loss statements alongside Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead the monthly forecasting activities and participate in the development of the annual budgeting process.
