Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a civil engineering professional who will lead and coordinate greenfield construction activities for power and energy projects at the Pirpainty, Bihar site. The role focuses on managing civil works from execution through quality control, while working closely with contractors, internal teams, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and drive civil construction work for greenfield projects in the power and energy sector.
- Apply hands-on knowledge of BTG, BOP, and structural works used in power plant construction.
- Work with internal departments and outside contractors to keep schedules, deliverables, and quality expectations on track.
- Guide and support junior colleagues with technical input and execution assistance.
- Carry out routine site visits and resolve issues arising during construction.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to make sure all project needs are addressed.
- Maintain adherence to safety norms and quality requirements throughout the project.
Technical Skills Needed
- Practical expertise in BTG, BOP, and structural works for power plant projects.
- Familiarity with applicable construction codes, standards, and statutory rules.
- Strong project coordination and management capability.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or comparable design/drafting software.
Must-Have Experience and Strengths
- Background in civil construction for greenfield developments.
- Direct experience with BTG, BOP, and structural execution in power plant environments.
- Demonstrated leadership and team guidance skills.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
Experience Required
