Job description

Overview

The role focuses on leading recruitment efforts for multiple University Partners across various program levels, aiming to expand the student base and enhance brand presence for the Singapore Institute of Management in assigned countries.

Student Recruitment and Market Development

  • Direct recruitment and revenue targets across all business lines to ensure growth.
  • Formulate and implement detailed recruitment and marketing strategies including representation at exhibitions, seminars, and alumni events to achieve student enrollment goals.
  • Use data analytics to track application and admission trends, providing comprehensive reports to the Regional Recruitment Office.
  • Hit student admission targets through established recruitment agents, feeder schools, and universities.
  • Lead conversion efforts by attending engagement events and providing education advice to prospective students and their families.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for assigned countries and prepare relevant reports.
  • Effectively coordinate the launch of new academic programs within the region.
  • Enhance the value proposition of SIM in-market to stand out amid competitors.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with embassies, governmental bodies, and private companies for internships, career opportunities, and sponsorships.
  • Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Corporate Engagement

  • Engage agencies and private sector partners to create internship, career, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Develop and sustain strategic partnerships and collaborative activities with relevant stakeholders.

Sales Management

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure streamlined admissions processing for students.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in managerial roles overseeing multicultural teams within business development, account or sales management.
  • Proven success in business growth, sales target attainment, key account handling, and building long-term partnerships.
  • Experience working internationally with diverse stakeholders and managing complex relationships.
  • Proficient in leading and mentoring teams towards high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in market expansion strategy, partnership engagement, and client retention efforts.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s Private Education and Transnational Education sectors is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with higher education, international recruitment, academic partnerships, or related business development preferred.
  • Korean language skills beneficial due to travel and partner interaction in South Korea.

Academic Background

Undergraduate degree in business or communication is required.
