Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager or General Manager to lead Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) for a prominent multinational manufacturing company located in Bangalore. Female candidates are especially encouraged to apply for this role.
Key Duties
- Oversee comprehensive IFM operations across expansive manufacturing plants and campuses.
- Manage diverse service areas including Housekeeping, Security, Canteen/Cafeteria, Transport, Utilities, Horticulture, Pest Control, Waste Handling, and Office Administration, covering both Hard and Soft FM services.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to statutory compliances such as Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Factory Act, Fire & Life Safety, Electrical Safety, and Labour Laws.
- Supervise utility functions involving Electrical systems, HVAC, Diesel Generators, Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Compressed Air, and Fire Protection systems.
- Lead vendor relationships, manage contracts, monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), drive budgeting, control costs, and promote energy conservation and operational excellence.
- Head large teams and coordinate with outsourced service vendors to uphold high standards of service and ensure business continuity.
- Handle stakeholder engagement, conduct audits, maintain facility governance, and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
Eligibility and Educational Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Possession of MBA or PGDM is advantageous but not mandatory.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in managing IFM in manufacturing settings.
- Strong skills in Hard and Soft Facility Services management.
- Expertise in utilities operations and statutory compliance.
- Effective vendor and contract management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, cost control, and team leadership across multiple sites.

Preferred candidates are women. This is a full-time onsite role located in Bangalore with a salary range between 3,500,000 and 3,750,000 INR annually.
