Role Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in Dammam. The dentist will be responsible for comprehensive oral care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and executing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive services. Additionally, the dentist will educate patients on maintaining oral hygiene, outline treatment options, obtain informed consent, and maintain precise clinical documentation. Collaboration with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative personnel is crucial for smooth patient flow and adherence to infection control and safety standards. Active participation in case discussions, continuing education activities, and quality improvement projects is required to maintain excellence in care delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid dental license with a recognized dental degree (DDS, DMD, or equivalent) eligible to practice in Alkhobar or the relevant local area.
- Proficient clinical skills inclusive of diagnosis, treatment planning, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, endodontics, minor oral surgery, and preventive treatments.
- Understanding of contemporary infection control protocols, dental materials, and current dental technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities to foster trust, clearly explain treatment choices, and collaborate with a diverse range of patients and team members.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented clinical setting, managing time and patient appointments efficiently.
- Dedication to ethical dental practice, patient safety, and ongoing professional development through relevant courses and certifications.
- Previous experience in a general dental practice is preferred, with knowledge of electronic health record systems considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous for patient interactions.
