Role Overview

As a Dental Assistant with Lumino Taradale, you will play a vital role in supporting experienced clinicians to ensure smooth, comfortable, and efficient dental procedures for patients. You will be responsible for key clinical support duties such as room preparation, infection control, sterilisation, supply management, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Working Hours

  • Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM
  • Friday: 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dental clinicians during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care throughout.
  • Adhere to strict sterilisation and infection control practices to uphold the highest hygiene standards.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and arrange necessary materials ahead of appointments.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and provide general support to patients.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork to ensure smooth daily operations within the practice.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience working as a Dental Assistant.
  • Understanding of dental practices and infection control protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Excellent organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, team-based environment.
  • Familiarity with computer software and dental practice management systems is advantageous.
