Demand Supply Planner

Overview and Responsibilities

Join Asteri Beauty (B Corp™) based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a Demand Supply Planner. This role involves overseeing comprehensive forecasting and supply planning to meet business demand and inventory targets effectively.

Demand Planning

• Create and manage demand forecasts spanning 12 to 18 months at channel, category, account, and item levels, devising recommendations to meet objectives.
• Lead monthly Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) forecast reviews and coordinate cross-functional meetings to align demand projections with strategies in finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales departments.
• Evaluate historical sales data, market tendencies, and marketing activities to identify product and category trends, ensuring their reflection in demand plans including baseline and promotional forecasts, event planning, plus weekly and monthly performance assessments.
• Perform root cause analyses on forecasting discrepancies and take corrective measures to enhance forecast accuracy.

Supply Planning

• Determine optimal stock levels per location factoring in supply lead times and reaction periods.
• Guarantee stock availability by managing inbound warehouse replenishment from suppliers, outbound distribution to stores, and Sell-In shipments to B2B clients.
• Control inventory management and propose stock liquidation strategies to prevent excess stock at each location.
• Coordinate supply planning for new product launches closely with New Product Development and Marketing teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of demand planning experience specifically within the Beauty or FMCG sectors.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a process orientation.
• Solid knowledge of forecasting software, methodologies, and best practices, alongside comprehension of financial and operational impacts on related departments.
• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced expertise in Excel; fluent in English.
