Job description

About the Company and Role

A leading global name in consumer products and retail manufacturing, renowned for supplying some of the world's most iconic brands to international markets, is expanding its planning team. As part of this growth, the company is investing heavily in supply chain and planning capabilities to support ambitious expansion across Europe and international distribution points.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating and owning forecasts and demand plans for a growing portfolio of international and Iberian markets. You will serve as the vital link between commercial divisions and supply chain operations by converting sales forecasts and market goals into precise, data-supported demand plans. Your duties include leading forecasting initiatives, tracking forecast accuracy, evaluating risks and opportunities, and contributing to the advancement of a robust sales and operations planning (S&OP) framework. This position offers high visibility with senior management and the chance to impact strategic business decisions.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Applicants should have 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning. A strong analytical aptitude and commercial awareness are essential. Proficiency in managing large datasets and extracting actionable insights is needed, along with the ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple departments.

Familiarity with ERP or planning software such as SAP or Oracle is highly preferred, as is advanced competence in Excel and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau. Experience in consumer goods, retail, toys, or other seasonal product industries is advantageous. While Spanish language skills are a plus, they are not mandatory.

Additional Information

The role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000, depending on experience. A hybrid working arrangement applies: three days in-office and two days remote for those based in London, with more flexibility for employees living outside London. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape demand planning strategies and gain exposure to senior leadership and important projects in a growing international firm.
