Role Overview
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for managing the forecasting process for a fast-growing omnichannel business. Your analyses will drive inventory investments and revenue outcomes by transforming data into actionable buying decisions that keep products available and customers satisfied. This role has significant visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine SKU-level demand forecasts across various channels and regions, integrating historical data with insights on promotions, seasonal trends, and market dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to validate assumptions and anticipate demand shifts.
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager to convert forecasts into monthly purchasing plans.
- Confidently launch new products by creating initial forecasts for new product introductions (NPI) and tracking performance against plans.
- Maintain smooth Amazon FBA operations by monitoring mid-month sell-through rates and initiating replenishment ahead of stock shortages.
- Identify potential risks early through exception analysis, scenario planning, and proactive strategies to optimize inventory.
