Job description
Role Overview
GSF Car Parts is hiring a Delivery Driver to represent the business on the road and with customers. In this zero-hours/casual position, you’ll help the branch cover holidays and other absences while making sure parts reach customers on time and service standards remain high. The role is customer-facing and contributes directly to branch performance and brand reputation.
Key Duties
- Deliver products to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Provide consistently strong customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Share feedback with the branch about customer trends and competitor activity.
- Load the vehicle in line with company procedures.
- Pick up customer returns when needed.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and support routine vehicle upkeep.
- Assist in the warehouse whenever required.
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries when needed.
Working Pattern
The role can offer up to 41 average hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working depending on branch cover requirements.
What You Need
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Strong familiarity with the local area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Prior experience in a delivery driver or similar delivery-based role.
- A clear commitment to excellent customer service.
- The ability to work to deadlines and maintain good timekeeping.
- A customer-first approach and a willingness to go the extra mile.
