Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Truck Driver holding a full clean 'C' driving license to serve the Sligo area. This role demands a strong work ethic and a commitment to outstanding customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently and punctually. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating a seamless home delivery experience that fulfills and exceeds customer expectations. Although the position is based in Dublin, duties will cover Sligo and surrounding counties. We offer training to motivated individuals eager to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent and consistent customer service during deliveries
• Verify and review delivery orders before dispatch
• Unload products following client requirements and specifications
• Deliver and assemble furniture at customer premises
• Set up furniture for in-store display models
• Remove pre-arranged furniture items when required
• Maintain regular communication with Logistics and Customer Service personnel
• Adhere to company's dress code and wear uniform at all times
• Perform vehicle inspections before starting routes

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a full clean 'C' license, including all CPC certificates and driver's tachograph card
• Solid knowledge of local and regional road networks within the province
• Physically fit and healthy to manage frequent heavy lifting demands
• Preferred: Minimum one year of home delivery experience; however, comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates
