About the Role
This role is part of the Trade Counter team, known internally as Branch Staff, based in Armidale. Responsibilities involve balancing product delivery duties, customer service for plumbers and tradespeople, and various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse and trade counter.
Typical Responsibilities
- Delivering products and parts to customers using company-provided vehicles.
- Performing pick packing and managing stock control procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the branch and warehouse.
- Offering excellent customer service and product-related information.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in delivery driving, retail, or customer service, with a passion for assisting customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Ability to accurately pick orders, manage shop floor displays, and provide correct information.
- Comfortable with computer usage and open to learning new systems.
- Holds a clean, valid driver’s license and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends.
- Aspirations to grow their career locally, network-wide, or at head office.
