Role overview
We are looking for a dependable and professional delivery driver to work from Haverhill, Suffolk. This is a full-time, permanent position with an early start and an early finish, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys time on the road and interacting with customers.
Pay and schedule
The starting salary is £28,000 per year. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 40 paid hours each week. The intended start date is August 2026.
Key duties
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections throughout the local area.
- Load and unload items manually during pickups and drop-offs.
- Represent the business positively by delivering a high standard of customer service at each stop.
- Complete everyday vehicle safety inspections and keep the van clean and orderly.
What we are looking for
The client is seeking someone with prior professional driving experience, a valid UK Category B driving licence, and the confidence to handle manual lifting. A courteous, customer-focused approach is important, along with strong reliability and a willingness to start early each morning.
