Delivery Driver - Domino's Pizza

About the Role

Domino's Pizza is searching for dependable delivery drivers to join our fast-growing team in Port Charlotte, FL. Our drivers play a vital role in delivering hot, delicious pizzas to customers promptly while benefiting from flexible scheduling that fits various lifestyles — whether as a primary job, side income, or while attending school.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
• Receive and process customer orders via phone and point-of-sale systems.
• Prepare simple products and assist with stocking ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility through daily cleaning routines.
• Complete inventory tasks and related paperwork as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Possess a clean driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to a fully insured vehicle for delivery purposes.
• Strong navigational skills to locate customer addresses, including ability to handle multi-story buildings and varying terrains.
• Competence in basic math including accurate calculation of change.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Capability to perform motor-coordinated tasks rapidly and precisely.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Exposure to varying weather conditions during outside tasks and deliveries.
• In-store temperatures ranging from cool (36°F) to hot (90°F+).
• Handling hot surfaces and sharp mechanical parts safely.
• Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking short distances, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling trays and dollies.
• Ability to navigate stairs and occasional ladder use.
