Job Overview

We seek a dependable and personable Delivery Driver who will ensure timely deliveries of automotive parts and support merchandising efforts onsite. As the approachable representative of BNT, you will utilize your excellent communication skills to foster trust and cultivate lasting client relationships, reflecting reliability, professionalism, and high service standards.

Your role involves managing scheduled deliveries, occasionally lifting items weighing up to 20 kilograms, and assisting with in-branch responsibilities such as customer inquiries, restocking, and stocktaking.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely to transport automotive parts and consumables to customers and branch locations.
• Load and unload inventory, guaranteeing items arrive in excellent condition alongside accurate documentation.
• Follow planned delivery routes and timelines, enhancing time management and efficiency.
• Deliver friendly, professional service and represent the company positively during all customer interactions.
• Accurately gather and record information related to customer credits, including product returns and associated details, to support credit processing compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer contacts at delivery sites.
• Drive high customer satisfaction through dependable service and a helpful, proactive attitude.
• Report relevant market insights, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the Branch Manager promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service or roles involving direct customer interaction, preferably within product sales environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient typing skills and general computer literacy.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Availability to work alternate Saturday mornings as required.
• Possession of a full, clean New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license.
