Role overview
This position involves collecting parcels or orders and delivering them to customers across the assigned service area. The role requires punctuality, safe riding, and consistent communication while handling daily deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Collect orders and complete deliveries to customers within the allotted territory.
- Make sure parcels and products reach recipients on time and without damage.
- Confirm delivery information and secure customer proof of receipt through a signature or OTP, where applicable.
- Accept and manage cash-on-delivery payments when needed.
- Record deliveries accurately and keep the delivery app updated with status changes.
- Observe traffic regulations and follow the company’s safety standards at all times.
- Escalate delivery delays, issues, or bike-related concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Keep the motorcycle in proper running condition and report maintenance needs quickly.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly stipend/salary in the range of INR 13,000 to INR 21,000.
