Role Overview
As a Delivery and Installation Specialist, you will be the backbone of our operations—handling the transportation, installation, and demonstration of merchandise. This multifaceted position involves indoor and outdoor tasks, including driving delivery vehicles and supporting store functions such as moving and picking up products. Your daily routine will be varied and community-facing, requiring flexibility and commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and protect products for transport.
- Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate delivery vehicles responsibly, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide store support as necessary, including moving and organizing merchandise.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of electronic devices.
- Motivated by assisting customers and meeting their needs.
- Must be at least 18 years old (Canada) or 21 years old (United States).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) certification requirements for U.S. employees.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 300 lbs using a dolly; proper training and equipment will be provided.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required; commercial driver’s license (CDL) not necessary.
- No overnight travel required.
