Job description
Role Overview
This full-time onsite position in Mumbai sits within Security Engineering and focuses on deception infrastructure, logging pipelines, and operational support. The role works on a 3-shift rotation and is positioned at L1 level, requiring at least 2 years of experience.
Key Work Areas
- Manage NetSensor log integration pipelines, with an estimated monthly effort of 106 hours.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve infrastructure and network-related issues, contributing around 52 hours per month.
- Test decoys and hardened NetSensor OS images, accounting for about 27 hours monthly.
- Prepare operational documentation and deliver training to internal teams, with roughly 12 hours per month dedicated to this work.
Operational Responsibilities
- Monitor decoys every day across a fleet of 1,312 decoys.
- Work with Logstash and rsyslog pipelines to keep log flows functioning properly.
- Handle patching activities and perform routine health checks on systems.
- Support incident response and operational troubleshooting as needed.
- Work with NetSensor decoys, including honeypot and smoke screen setups.
Technical Environment
The role involves hands-on work with Logstash, rsyslog, Linux, monitoring tools, firewall-related checks, Linux-based hardened/customized OS images, and deception technologies used in SecToolOps.
Schedule and Shift Details
This is a 3-shift rotation role.
