Internship Overview
This off-cycle internship offers an immersive opportunity to engage in multiple buy- and sell-side transactions across the full deal lifecycle. Interns gain practical, hands-on experience under expert mentorship within PwC's collaborative environment, enhancing career development in corporate finance and investment banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret past and forecasted financial data to assist deal execution and support clients' decision-making processes.
- Research market and industry trends, construct detailed financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), trading comparables, and precedent transactions, and help develop pitch decks and client documentation for M&A deals.
- Assist senior team members in executing ongoing transactions and client pitches.
- Participate in due diligence research and creation of marketing materials across various sectors and deal types.
- Work within a high-performing team to deliver impactful outcomes for clients.
Candidate Profile
- Pursuing undergraduate studies locally or overseas, preferably in Accountancy, Business, Economics, or Finance.
- Maintains strong academic performance, typically achieving at least Second Class Upper Honours or equivalent, complemented by active involvement in co-curricular activities.
- Demonstrates a strong enthusiasm for building a career in corporate finance and investment banking.
- Possesses excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Shows strong interpersonal and communication abilities, thriving in multicultural teams while capable of independently managing responsibilities.
- Highly motivated, confident, creative, and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
