Overview
The Deal Desk Analyst will collaborate across departments such as Sales Operations, Billing, Contracts, and Legal to support the Global Sales Team with deal quoting and structuring. This role offers an opportunity to grow alongside Datadog's expanding business.

Key Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive understanding of Datadog’s pricing and licensing frameworks to aid global sales in deal structuring and quoting.
- Creatively solve problems to fulfill customer requirements within company sales policies.
- Address customer satisfaction issues after deal completion.
- Negotiate deals directly with customers when necessary.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management.
- Serve as the sales teams' point of contact and subject matter expert on deal pricing.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, protocols, and business guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years experience in deal desk roles.
- Proficient in structuring and quoting complex SaaS transactions in a fast-growing international environment.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition standards.
- Confident representation and negotiation with customers to resolve satisfaction issues.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure in a dynamic setting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, approaching problems from diverse perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
