Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated Data Center Cabling Technician to join our team based in Blanchardstown, West Dublin. This contract position offers a salary of €30,000 per year and provides an excellent opportunity to launch or advance your career within IT infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
- Repair and replace components within servers and networking devices in a contemporary data center setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cabling is orderly, secure, and complies with established quality benchmarks.
- Support troubleshooting efforts and maintain the integrity of cabling systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and corporate procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Eager to acquire and expand technical expertise.
- Strong focus on detail with a systematic work approach.
- Physically fit to perform hands-on tasks, including standing for extended periods.
- Possess some background in IT hardware roles, repairs, or personal IT hardware projects such as disassembling computers and understanding their components.
- Positive attitude, ambition, and willingness to learn are essential.
- Preferably some basic knowledge of network cabling, fiber optics, or server hardware components.
