The Bayernwerk Netz GmbH team is looking for a Data Steward (m/w/d) to join as soon as possible.

Your mission

• You act as the main contact for the East Bavaria region when it comes to identifying, documenting and addressing current data quality issues, and for establishing the data quality framework.
• You support data quality solutions across business units and serve as the central point of contact for all matters related to data quality.
• You collect data quality needs from specialist departments and help translate them into clear functional descriptions.
• You contribute to the design of data quality rules and data maintenance concepts.
• You assist departments with questions and issues, and help train teams on newly introduced data quality solutions.
• You work closely with other Bayernwerk teams to implement the required data quality standards from both a business and technical perspective.

What you bring

• You have strong problem-solving ability and can understand complex relationships and turn them into clear, actionable insights.
• You work well in a team and communicate concepts and solutions clearly to different audiences.
• You have experience and knowledge in the energy supply sector.
• Experience in implementing digital, data-driven quality solutions and in ensuring reliable data provision is an advantage.
• Knowledge of database management, ETL processes and programming, for example SQL and Python, is desirable.
• You hold a completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, business information technology or a related field, and you speak German fluently at C1 level.
