About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their team in Delhi to work on maritime data analysis. The role involves leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to build predictive models and improve decision-making processes by analyzing extensive maritime datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of maritime data, including AIS and radar inputs, using various statistical and machine learning models.
- Develop and implement predictive models and computer vision techniques for enhanced maritime applications.
- Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for data processing and storage.
- Employ data visualization tools to present actionable insights.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency with data visualization libraries and tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience analyzing maritime datasets, particularly involving AIS, radar, and object detection methodologies.
- Knowledge of big data ecosystems including Spark and Hadoop is advantageous.
