Data Quality / MDM Developer - Immediate Opening in Bangalore

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Data Quality Developers with over 5 years of expertise to join our Bangalore team. The position involves managing and enhancing product information management (PIM) systems, specifically utilizing Informatica tools to ensure data integrity and quality across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the application of PIM in managing product data and improve the application with Java programming, troubleshooting, and user support during unexpected issues.
• Leverage Informatica Cloud Data Quality to design, test, maintain, and support data quality rules, conducting transformations and analyzing data discrepancies.
• Work extensively with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) modules including Customer Data Quality (CDQ), Customer Data Integration (CDI), and Cloud Application Integration (CAI), alongside on-premises IDQ and data analyst tools.
• Conduct data quality assessments such as profiling and scorecarding to maintain data standards.
• Prepare and distribute periodic reports on data quality metrics and ongoing improvements.
• Engage with enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) systems and application programming interfaces (API) to support organizational data management goals.
• Apply a solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and broader data management initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with business units and interdisciplinary teams through strong verbal and written skills.
• Implement and contribute within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments, particularly using Kanban and Lean methodologies.
• Develop SQL queries and analyze data utilizing Microsoft SQL Server.
• Utilize Informatica PIM / Product 360 solutions to optimize product data management processes.
• Maintain ethical integrity, promoting honesty and professional standards consistently.
• Hold IDMC Foundation Level and IICS Foundation Level certifications specific to CDI, CDQ or CAI services.
• Troubleshoot Informatica cloud platform issues by interpreting logs and diagnosing problems efficiently.
• Employ scripting languages such as Core Java or Python to develop custom data transformation solutions.
• Create training materials, guidelines, and documentation to educate teams about data quality best practices and their application organization-wide.
• Conduct training sessions for teammates and stakeholders concerning data quality processes.
• Collaborate proactively with relevant stakeholders to establish and uphold data quality criteria within data governance frameworks.
