The organisation emphasises curiosity, purpose, collaboration, and innovation. The work is expected to involve practical delivery, technical leadership, and ongoing knowledge-building across analytics, data science, AI, and cloud technologies.
Role summary
In this position, you will contribute to the design and delivery of data migration solutions, support technical architecture decisions, and guide the delivery team to maintain high-quality standards. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and internal leaders to shape migration approaches, improve processes, and strengthen team capability.
Key responsibilities
- Design the technical architecture, solution approach, and overall technical design for data migration initiatives.
- Develop data models and data architecture, including the safe application of AI within the solution.
- Lead the technical delivery team and help ensure strong delivery quality across assignments.
- Perform hands-on data migration development and testing while working directly with client teams.
- Assist the functional build team with technical and functional data design and data management best practices.
- Support project management through cutover planning and technical impact analysis for design changes, defects, and related issues.
- Spot opportunities to improve data migration and data management processes.
- Contribute to business development efforts, new technical approaches, and the adoption of emerging tools and methods.
- Help grow the team’s data migration capability through tool development, AI usage, recruitment support, and upskilling.
- Build strong market relationships to stay aligned with changing client needs and business opportunities.
- Support data platform delivery and development when required.
Required experience and qualifications
You should bring practical leadership experience in large-scale data migration programs, including solution design, development, architecture, estimation, and budget management. Experience with cloud-based migration projects into CRM or ERP platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, or SAP is important.
The role also calls for strong capability in data profiling, reconciliation, analysis, cleansing, transformations, and defect handling, along with advanced technical data engineering skills. You should be comfortable working across the software development lifecycle, using version control and project management tools, and collaborating in structured delivery environments.
