About the Role

As a key member of our fast-expanding import-export company based in the UAE, you will play an essential role managing critical data related to cross-border shipments. Our company specializes in seamless logistics and trade operations across the GCC, focusing on precise and timely data handling to support supply chain activities.

Key Duties

  • Enter, verify, and update shipment records, invoices, and customs documentation using ERP and logistics software platforms.
  • Cross-check physical documents with digital entries to identify and report inconsistencies.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on logistics, finance, and warehouse data for internal teams.
  • Maintain organized vendor, customer, and product databases for easy retrieval and management.
  • Assist in tracking invoicing and payments by logging transactions aligned with purchase orders.
  • Work alongside departmental managers to improve data processing workflows and minimize manual input errors.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data validation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or TradeTracker.
  • Fast and accurate typing abilities, with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute and 99% accuracy.
  • Good understanding of fundamental customs documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Excellent attention to detail and familiarity with error-prevention techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of UAE import/export laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using logistics or freight forwarding platforms like ShipBob or Freightos.
  • Ability to read and write Arabic.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and customs declaration systems.
