Job description

About the company

JARS Cannabis operates as a major cannabis retailer and operator focused on high-quality products, strong customer service, and reliable day-to-day operations. As the business expands, the Distribution Center team needs detail-focused support to keep inventory records accurate and ensure compliance across the dispensary network.

Role overview

This role is central to inventory control and regulatory compliance. The Data Entry Clerk will receive vendor inventory, process it in the inventory system, confirm that inbound products meet all required rules, and help maintain precise records. The position also involves coordinating with vendors to collect testing and compliance paperwork.

The right person will be highly organized, careful with details, and comfortable handling large volumes of information in a fast-moving setting.

Pay and schedule

Compensation starts at $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time position.

Key duties

The job includes entering and tracking inventory for all dispensary locations, processing invoices in chronological order, and creating new items in Dutchie according to Product Master standards and inbound SOPs. The clerk will also verify and record packaging dates, harvest dates, expiration dates, product weights, and THC/CBD/cannabinoid testing results, along with costs, discounts, credits, and payment details. Receiving documents must be printed and organized into completed inventory packets.

On the compliance side, the role requires checking invoices for accurate facility agent card details, delivery manifests, packaging and testing data, and correct weights and quantities. Any testing, invoice, or compliance issues must be flagged and reported. The clerk will monitor the Test Results inbox, communicate with vendors about compliance requirements, and secure Certificates of Analysis, licenses, permits, and other required records. All inventory records must remain aligned with Arizona cannabis regulations and company policies.

Vendor and record management is also part of the position. This includes keeping vendor and customer data current in the inventory system, working with vendors to resolve documentation problems, and maintaining orderly compliance and testing files.

Qualifications

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid Arizona Facility Agent Card. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role calls for strong computer and data entry ability, excellent organization, careful attention to detail, and the ability to spot and follow up on discrepancies. Clear written and verbal communication is important, as is the ability to work independently while staying accurate and productive. Prior experience in inventory, compliance, administration, or data entry is preferred, and familiarity with Dutchie or similar inventory systems is an advantage.

What the employer offers

Benefits include competitive compensation, opportunities to grow with a rapidly expanding organization, a collaborative work environment, employee discounts, and a full-time benefits package for eligible employees.

Application fit

This opportunity is best suited to organized candidates who enjoy detail-heavy work in a compliance-focused environment.
