About the Role

Join the Climate Equity and Impact department located in Downtown Boston on Tremont Street as a Data Entry Clerk. This role is responsible for meticulously inputting client information and vendor payment data into specialized software daily, following clear instructions and standardized processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter client details and payment information for vendors into designated data software routinely.
  • Organize batch controls for applications pending processing.
  • Calculate totals derived from batch control data.
  • Evaluate and assign status to applications completed by intake sites.
  • Draft letters to applicants notifying them of incomplete applications.
  • Serve as a backup resource for application intake when needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned occasionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience of up to 12 months in a similar capacity is necessary.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work efficiently.
  • Strong numerical and accuracy skills are essential.
  • Familiarity and prior use of data entry software applications.
  • Ability to interact respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

Compensation

This position offers an hourly wage of $21.29, amounting to approximately $38,747.80 annually. The salary is established based on a clear compensation framework aligned with local market rates, funding parameters, and consistent with the responsibilities of the role. Salary offers are firm and non-negotiable.
