Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated Data Engineers to contribute to a government project based in Central Singapore. The role involves designing and maintaining robust data infrastructure to support scalable analytics and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines ensuring reliable data availability and integrity.
- Engage with project stakeholders to gather requirements and develop tailored data solutions.
- Offer training and support to users to maximize their proficiency in data processing and analysis.
- Continuously monitor and enhance data workflows and queries for optimal performance.
- Apply data governance, security, and compliance standards within client environments.
- Maintain thorough documentation of data architectures, pipelines, and operational processes.
- Identify and resolve issues related to data handling and Databricks platform functionality.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, specifically with Databricks technologies.
- Proficiency with Python or PySpark programming and data modeling methods.
- Hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Lakehouse projects.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes for data integration.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in user support and training is highly advantageous.
