Job description
Overview
Appen is conducting a data collection project aimed at improving vehicle safety technologies. Participants are invited to perform designated actions inside one of our vehicles while wearing accessories like sunglasses or hats. These movements of the head and gaze are recorded solely for development purposes, with data not publicly released.
Qualifications
- Applicants must not have participated in similar previous projects with Appen.
- Intermediate English communication ability required to understand and follow instructions.
- 16 years or older eligible to apply, including adults.
- Applicants aged 16-17 must be accompanied by a guardian; guardians who accompany without participating will receive a separate honorarium.
- Female participants of height 173cm or above are also being recruited separately.
Project Details
- Duration: Approximately one hour, suitable for after-school participation.
- Location: Within walking distance from Kingsford Light Rail station, with parking available.
- Compensation: $80 eGift card for participants.
- Guardians who accompany but do not participate will receive a $50 eGift card.
- eGift cards are redeemable at supermarkets and various locations via Gift Pay.

Additional Information
