About the Role
Become a key contributor to the risk analytics team by transforming transaction data into proactive risk indicators. Collaborate closely with credit, fraud, and operations teams to enhance the lending processes and safeguard customers at Ghana's largest local bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver weekly and monthly risk performance dashboards for senior leadership review.
- Analyze fraud trends and recommend enhancements to fraud detection mechanisms.
- Work alongside engineering teams to deploy analytical models into production environments.
- Effectively communicate complex data insights to audiences without technical backgrounds to inform decision-making.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with Python, specifically the pandas library, for data manipulation.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking or financial technology sectors.
- Knowledge of machine learning applications related to fraud detection.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake data platforms.
