Role Overview

This role entails performing multiple billing-related tasks within the Revenue Cycle team. Prior experience or knowledge of pharmacy Revenue Cycle processes is highly advantageous. Proficiency in SQL queries and database structures is necessary for success. The role demands effective prioritization, planning, and timely execution of assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute weekly billing tasks associated with certain outsourced service agreements.
  • Analyze all billing procedures to identify opportunities for process enhancements that boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Investigate and respond promptly and courteously to client inquiries related to billing and reporting.
  • Contribute to the semi-monthly PBM Billing activities when required.
  • Assist in the HealthDyne Billing cycles including weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly processes as necessary.
  • Generate and disseminate additional invoices as needed.
  • Demonstrate advanced planning capabilities to ensure completion of tasks within scheduled timelines.
  • Help develop analytic dashboards to showcase trends in PBM and other operational functions.
  • Provide support to the Revenue Cycle team by undertaking additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related discipline with substantial quantitative experience is required.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong command of Microsoft SQL, R, or other analytical software tools.
  • Familiarity with Python is desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and critical reasoning capabilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to maintain awareness of overall objectives.
  • Proficiency in interpreting data and drawing meaningful conclusions.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and process verbally presented information and ideas effectively.

Working Conditions

The role primarily functions in a conventional office setting requiring prolonged computer use. Occasional external travel may be necessary. The work demands good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for standard office and computer equipment operation. There may be moments of heightened stress when addressing customer or client concerns.
