About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and deploying analytic solutions to tackle business challenges, providing insightful reporting to support ongoing operations by leveraging advanced analytics methodologies. This position is based in the West Perth office with flexible hybrid work arrangements including opportunities for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define precise data requirements to facilitate effective analysis and testing of hypotheses using discovery analytics techniques.
  • Develop suitable models, algorithms, or solutions that address and resolve complex business issues.
  • Deliver reporting support for various business units to enhance decision-making and operational success.
  • Establish and recommend documentation and governance standards to ensure process repeatability and compliance with audits.
  • Contribute to improving efficiency and shaping the long-term strategic direction of the business unit by simplifying personnel and processes aligned with RAC's broader strategy and values.
  • Enhance team capabilities through cross-skilling and cultivate strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and output clearly; present analytic results effectively to secure stakeholder buy-in and illustrate the benefits of analytic initiatives through storytelling.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven background in advanced analytics, specifically resolving complex business problems through data analytics.
  • Strong practical experience with analytics tools including hands-on use of Power BI for report and dashboard development and management.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated skill in fostering productive stakeholder relationships ensuring clear communication and teamwork.
  • Relevant tertiary education in business, statistics, or a related field.
