Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Dairy/Frozen department’s cleanliness, organization, and zoning to ensure it is consistently customer-ready.
• Perform regular stock rotation and monitor expiration dates to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Ensure products are properly priced and signed, following the established protocols for ordering, clearance, pricing, flagging, and labeling.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, cold chain protocols, temperature checks, thermometer calibration, and sanitation procedures to maintain product safety.
• Support merchandising efforts by maintaining promotional features and department standards.
• Keep work areas safe, tidy, hazard-free, and compliant with Company and Health and Safety policies by promptly removing debris and spills.
• Be open to working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands and provide consistent service.

Challenges of the Role

• Effectively manage and energize yourself for overnight and fast-paced shifts with high task volume.
• Complete large quantities of restocking and recovery duties accurately and efficiently within scheduled hours.
• Handle physical activities such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing tasks that require attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.90.

Minimum Qualifications
