Dairy Frozen Associate

Position Summary

As a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada, you’ll help deliver a strong in-store experience by supporting customers, keeping the department organized, and making sure merchandise is stocked and presented properly. This role is well suited to someone interested in retail or customer service and looking to build practical experience in a fast-paced store environment.

Key Duties

• Keep the dairy/frozen department zoned and organized.
• Rotate inventory and remove items that are past their expiry dates.
• Make sure products are accurately labeled, signed, and priced.
• Follow cold-chain standards, including thermometer checks and temperature logs, as well as food handling and product rotation rules.
• Carry out sanitation and cleaning routines in line with food safety practices.
• Handle ordering, clearance, markdowns/markups, and labeling or signage procedures correctly.
• Maintain promotional and display features.
• Ensure the area stays tidy, clean, and free from clutter, liquids, debris, fixtures, and other hazards.

Compensation

The starting hourly pay for this position is $17.75.
