Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Specialist / Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Specialist to design, deliver, and continually improve comprehensive cybersecurity education programs tailored to various roles within the organization. This position requires the development of engaging training content and simulation exercises, alongside assessment and reporting of organizational security awareness levels.

Key Duties

• Develop and implement cybersecurity training initiatives to educate employees at all levels.
• Create and maintain updated awareness materials addressing current and emerging cyber threats.
• Evaluate training needs and measure effectiveness of awareness efforts within the organization.
• Customize training content to fit specific employee roles and departmental requirements.
• Revise and enhance programs based on feedback, security landscape changes, and organizational demands.
• Design practical simulation scenarios to reinforce training.
• Conduct ongoing research on new cybersecurity threats and technology advancements.
• Track and report key metrics related to training and development outcomes.

Contract Details

The position is contracted for 12 months with a potential extension contingent upon departmental needs.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or allied fields; Master’s degree in Cybersecurity preferred.
• Relevant certifications including but not limited to CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CySA+, CHFI, PenTest+, CEH, CPENT, GCIH, GPEN, OSCP, CISA, CISM, CISSP.
• Possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is mandatory.
• Exemplary presentation and communication abilities, with proficiency in translating complex cybersecurity concepts for varied audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a deep understanding of contemporary cybersecurity challenges and mitigation techniques.
• Capability to evaluate and enhance security awareness programs effectively.
