About the Client

The client runs an online marketplace that brings together design lovers and sellers around the world. Its catalog includes more than one million distinctive items, spanning furniture, fine art, jewelry, and fashion. The platform is designed to make it easier for shoppers to discover exceptional pieces and connect directly with leading sellers.

Role Overview

This position is centered on providing outstanding support to consumers, trade customers, and dealers. The goal is to create a smooth buying experience by handling questions, solving issues quickly, and coordinating order-related details with professionalism and care. The role is important to overall customer satisfaction and to maintaining strong working relationships with clients and dealers.

Key Responsibilities

You will support customers through phone, email, and chat in a busy, high-volume setting. The role also involves troubleshooting problems, working across multiple systems to retrieve customer and order information, and supporting Sales and Account Management teams with communication between customers and dealers. You will be expected to explain policies and processes clearly, set accurate expectations, and work closely with managers and cross-functional colleagues every day.

Experience and Skills Needed

The client is looking for someone with at least one year of experience in customer service, account management, or e-commerce environments that move quickly. Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, careful attention to detail, and the ability to handle difficult or escalated situations calmly are all important. Good organization, prioritization, and a proactive, collaborative approach are also required. Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform is preferred.

Preferred Background

Experience with luxury products is a plus. Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian, or German would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The Tri-State hourly pay range for this role is USD 24.50 to USD 27. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include equity, benefits, and incentives depending on location, experience, and other relevant factors.
