Job description

Role overview

Mindrift works with subject-matter specialists on project-based AI assignments for major technology companies. The focus is on checking, assessing, and helping refine AI systems. This is not a permanent job; participation happens on a project basis.

Important application note

Please send your CV in English and include your English proficiency level.

What the work involves

Each project can differ, but typical tasks may include:

  • Creating and reviewing fee-related inquiry and statement-clarification cases, confirming whether amounts align with published schedules and separating descriptor-mapping questions from genuine fraud allegations.
  • Developing autopay and payment setup situations with built-in edge cases such as the wrong payee, not enough funds, incorrect draft timing, or skipped confirmation steps.
  • Building card replacement and fraud-report scenarios that test urgency around card blocking, recognition of fraud signals, capture of intake details, and a smooth transfer to the disputes team.
  • Writing account closure scenarios that check whether a retention offer should be allowed, whether pending transactions are present, and whether offers are correctly withheld from ineligible customers.
  • Evaluating responses for both accuracy and communication quality, including empathy in tense situations, the right tone for the channel used, and clear wording that does not overpromise.

Candidate profile

This opportunity suits professionals from customer service, banking, or financial services who are comfortable with part-time, non-permanent project work. Strong candidates usually have:

  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, banking, retail, or financial services.
  • Recent or current experience in customer support, banking, financial roles, or similar adjacent positions.
  • Sound routing judgment, including the ability to determine what falls within service scope and to interpret fee schedules or policy documents to select the applicable rule.
  • Experience as a QA analyst, call-center trainer, or conversation designer is an added advantage.
  • Strong written English at C1 level or above.

How the process works

Apply, complete the qualification step or steps, join a project, finish assigned tasks, and receive payment.

Time commitment

During active project periods, the expected workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and is not guaranteed.

Compensation

Contributors on this project may earn up to the equivalent of $60 per hour, depending on their experience level and working pace. Pay can vary by project based on scope, complexity, and expertise required.
