About SimplifyVMS
As a Customer Success Manager at SimplifyVMS, you will be dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by helping clients gain full value from our Vendor Management SaaS platform. You will establish trusting, enduring relationships with customers, ensuring they successfully adopt and effectively utilize the platform, while continuously optimizing their experience.
Role Overview
Your key objective will be to guarantee ongoing client success by leveraging SimplifyVMS capabilities including Supplier Management Systems (SMS), Contingent Workforce Management, and Procurement solutions to improve their operational workflows and meet business targets. Responsibilities include maintaining strong customer engagement, proactively resolving issues, and uncovering possibilities for upselling, cross-selling, and broadening platform use. This position combines customer relationship management, product knowledge, and technical skill throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate new client onboarding post-implementation to ensure a smooth start with SimplifyVMS usage.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building supportive relationships and offering strategic advice to maximize platform benefits and operational efficiency.
- Promote platform adoption by educating clients on new features, capabilities, and best practices tailored to their business needs.
- Monitor client health indicators such as usage behavior, satisfaction ratings, and engagement levels to anticipate and prevent churn.
- Act as the lead escalation point, collaborating with support, product, and engineering teams to resolve product or service challenges.
- Organize and deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops aimed at empowering users to fully utilize SimplifyVMS.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to relay to product and engineering teams for ongoing platform enhancement.
- Provide regular performance reports and quarterly business reviews to senior management and clients, highlighting KPIs and value delivered.
- Identify growth opportunities including additional modules and integrations, coordinating with Sales and Account teams to promote upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management, preferably within SaaS environments dealing with enterprise clients.
- Proven track record managing customer relationships across operational and executive levels to influence decisions and drive results.
- Knowledge of Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and Procurement software is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating value propositions and leading client discussions.
- Experience handling complex, multi-stakeholder relationships to ensure collaborative problem resolution.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret customer data, highlight trends, and generate actionable insights supporting customer success.
- Competence in diagnosing and addressing product/service-related concerns, often requiring cross-departmental cooperation.
- Experienced in managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with focus on achieving measurable results and customer loyalty.
- Familiarity with Agile approaches, project management tools, and effective execution of customer success strategies.
- Understanding of APIs, data migration processes, integration tools, and analytic/reporting functionalities.
- Ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical details of the SimplifyVMS platform to diverse stakeholders.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Technology, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Experience using SimplifyVMS or similar platforms like SAP, Coupa, Beeline, and Fieldglass.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, and customer success tools like Gainsight.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum certifications, or customer success certifications such as CSAA or CCSM are advantageous.
