Role overview
This position is based at a client site in Perth and is part of a busy, fast-moving team. The main focus is managing incoming mail efficiently so it is sorted accurately and delivered on time across the organisation. The role also includes customer contact, office support, and general administrative duties.
Working arrangement
- Casual employment opportunity with a Monday to Friday schedule
- Location: Perth, Western Australia
- Some manual handling and heavier lifting may be required
Key responsibilities
- Receive, manage, and distribute daily mail and courier items
- Respond to customer queries by phone and email and help resolve issues
- Look after office equipment, supplies, and stationery stocks
- Maintain databases and update presentation-related records
- Arrange courier pickups and lodgements with multiple courier providers
- Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
About you
To succeed in this role, you should bring a positive, proactive attitude and be dependable in day-to-day work. Attention to detail is important, along with accuracy, solid computer skills, and the ability to stay organised while managing time well. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a service-focused environment and is motivated to meet and exceed client expectations.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to perform well under pressure while meeting strict service standards
- Prior customer service experience is an advantage
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Australian citizenship is required due to the client environment
