Role Overview
This is an on-site position supporting a client in the automotive sector. The role is based in Port Melbourne and includes free parking on site, along with the chance to work in a positive team setting.

About the Role
The successful candidate should bring a proactive, dependable mindset, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and clear communication abilities.
Main Duties
- Sort incoming mail and make sure it reaches the right people.
- Receive and pass on parcels and courier deliveries.
- Complete internal mail runs between Port Melbourne HQ and the North Altona office using the company van.
- Arrange courier collections and deliveries as needed.
- Handle customer questions and basic enquiries professionally.
- Keep office equipment, supplies, and stationery stocked and organised.
- Support the preparation of meetings and conferences.
- Update databases and presentation materials when required.
- Carry out light cleaning tasks around the office.
- Help with filing and maintaining document records.
- Assist with general administrative work.
- Be prepared for occasional heavy lifting.
Key Requirements
- A valid driver’s licence is required.
- A current forklift licence is preferred; if the right candidate does not yet have one, training can be provided and the company will cover the training and licence costs.
- Confidence using MS Office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly is important.
- Strong verbal communication and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
- Good planning, organisation, and time management skills are needed.
- The ability to stay effective under pressure and meet strict service expectations is required.
- Prior experience in customer service would be an advantage.
Eligibility
