About the Role

HealthMark Group provides health information management and technology services for physician practices and hospitals across the country. The company supports healthcare organizations by taking over administrative tasks such as handling release-of-information requests and completing forms, helping care teams stay focused on patients.

They are seeking an entry-level, motivated professional to join a rapidly expanding remote team. This position is suited to someone starting their career in a fast-moving environment with high volume work.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle requests for medical records.
  • Work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Report to the Processing Manager.
  • Step in for overflow work when request volume or coverage needs increase.
  • Follow HIPAA rules and protect the privacy of PHI at all times.
  • Keep requests moving so assigned accounts are completed within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.
  • Share updates on request volume and any problems that arise.
  • Track incoming requests arriving through different channels.
  • Perform general office tasks as needed.
  • Answer calls and provide phone coverage related to medical records requests to support client needs.

What They’re Looking For

  • A quick learner who can adapt rapidly.
  • Someone reliable and consistent.
  • A fast and efficient worker.
  • A strong team player.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • A person who is eager to go beyond the basics and contribute more.

Benefits

  • Health insurance plan options with company contribution.
  • Vision and dental plan options.
  • STD, LTD, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
  • Competitive paid time off, including paid holidays.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching.

Additional Information

This description is meant to give a broad picture of the role. Responsibilities and qualifications may change as business needs evolve and may not cover every duty tied to the job.

Privacy and Compliance

This role may involve regular access to protected health information and confidential client data. The selected candidate must understand confidentiality requirements, follow all HIPAA rules and company privacy and security policies, and promptly report any suspected or known unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of PHI to the Privacy Officer or Information Security team.

Completion of all required company-sponsored and regulatory training programs is mandatory.
