Role Overview
Metalcorp seeks a Customer Service Officer located in Geelong, Victoria. This full-time, onsite position requires a customer-focused individual who is enthusiastic about assisting clients, building strong relationships, and problem-solving. While prior customer service experience is valued, the company emphasizes attitude, communication ability, and eagerness to learn, providing training on products and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and face-to-face interaction, delivering exceptional service.
- Manage enquiries, prepare quotations, and process customer orders efficiently.
- Collaborate with marketing, warehouse, and sales teams to meet customer demands and expectations.
- Develop and sustain relationships with customers to identify new business and sales opportunities.
- Continuously seek improvements in the customer experience and overall value offered.
Work Schedule
This permanent position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Who You Are
- Experienced in delivering customer service with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communicator with interpersonal skills and the confidence to resolve issues promptly.
- Proactive in building positive working relationships.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning new software systems.
