About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to work with one of our clients and play a key part in delivering a high standard of customer care while helping the business meet its goals. In this role, you will speak with customers, support their enquiries, manage account-related tasks, and strengthen relationships with both residential and business clients. The position calls for a steady focus on service quality and day-to-day operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer contact through phone calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Address complaints with a customer-first mindset and work toward timely resolution.
- Support billing and account administration, including maintaining accurate customer information, taking payments, and processing orders.
- Follow relevant compliance requirements related to installations and customer holdings.
- Keep daily reports and records updated in line with company procedures and systems.
- Contribute to customer retention and business growth by promoting the company’s services and solutions.
Skills and Experience
- Clear verbal communication and strong telephone handling skills.
- A service-oriented attitude with the confidence to manage concerns and complaints proactively.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when working with accounts and records.
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in utilities or energy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exposure to customer management systems would be an advantage.
Additional Information
This position is based in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand and is offered on a part-time, onsite basis. The role is suited to someone who wants to work locally in a professional team environment and contribute to strong customer service outcomes.
