Role overview
Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch is seeking a service-focused Customer Service Officer to support its Consumer Banking branch operations. This role suits someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction, handles customers with patience and empathy, and can juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
What you will do
- Carry out customer banking transactions with speed and accuracy, such as cheque processing, cash deposits, cash withdrawals, transfers, loan repayments, and opening or closing accounts.
- Balance cash drawers and complete the daily counting and packing of coins and notes.
- Stay knowledgeable about the bank’s products and services so customer questions can be answered clearly and promptly.
- Handle branch visitors’ enquiries, maintain customer-related data, and help prepare operational reports as needed.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of service to support overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A diploma or a higher qualification is required.
- Prior knowledge of savings accounts and cash deposit/withdrawal processes is helpful, though not mandatory.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong people skills, clear communication, and a friendly, pleasant manner.
- Ability to stay organised, work independently, manage multiple tasks, and remain accurate in a busy environment.
- Team-oriented attitude and readiness to work a 5.5-day or 6-day work week.
- No previous banking experience is needed, as full training will be provided to selected candidates.

This is an onsite, full-time position based in Singapore. The role involves daily branch counter and service operations in a fast-paced banking environment.
