About the role
Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Customer Service Officer to support the everyday running of Hannan’s North Tourist Mine in Kalgoorlie. The site is an important part of the area’s gold-mining heritage, and this role helps deliver a welcoming tourism experience for both locals and visitors.
The position sits within a small team and contributes to the presentation, safety, and smooth operation of the tourist mine. Role details
There are two residential part-time openings available. The rosters are day shifts only, with either 8 days on and 6 days off or 7 days on and 7 days off, working 8 or 7 days per fortnight.
What you will do
- Deliver friendly customer service and create a positive experience for tour guests and visitors.
- Carry out daily tasks that support the safety and presentation of the Hannan’s North Tourist Mine facility.
- Assist with administrative work for the Hannan’s North Tourist Mine Co-Ordinator.
- Handle point-of-sale activities for the facility and shopfront.
Experience and skills
This role calls for prior customer service experience, strong communication and interpersonal ability, and confidence using computer systems, including Microsoft Office. Experience with point-of-sale and procurement systems is also needed.
